Flowers and Farmer's Markets

It may not feel very springy outside, but it is now officially Spring!  My favourite time of year.  The crocuses are blooming, the farmer's markets are larger, and full of beautiful looking fruits and vegetables.  I'm so excited.  All of these photographs were taken in Prospect Park, and the Farmer's Market in Grand Army Plaza the past couple of days.

Other than today, I got to walk in the park every day this week.  Six out of seven is not bad at all.  I'm ready for warmth.  Sunshine.  More flowers.  The plants on my sill are even starting to grow!

What's your favourite part about Spring?

Charming

I was searching back through some of my photographs, and remembered an entire album that I had taken in Hampstead Heath, back in London.  I've only posted a few photographs from that day, but I took over five hundred.  Unfortunately, the photo quality on these is a little bit blurry due to the broken-ish state of my camera the day these were taken.  I like them enough to want to share them with you despite this fact, and I hope that they are enjoyable regardless.

Here is someone's lovely front yard full of pale, pink tulips.

Two Lips

A flower display in a garden near the Groehning Museum.
If I ever have a backyard, it shall contain something that looks almost exactly like this.

Bruges, Belgium.

If this photograph made you all happy inside, like it does to me, then Beautiful Disaster might also be your kind of thing.
