Longwood Gardens Part 3

I'm actually posting this when I said I would!  Yay!

I'm acting responsible... does this make me a real adult?  Maybe.  In any case, please, enjoy the remainder of the good photographs (I try not to share the bad ones) from my trip to Longwood Gardens!!

I'm not going to lie- I don't think that these are my strongest photographs ever.  They're kind of mediocre by my standards.  But, I figured that I would share them regardless because the subject matter is pretty neat.

Plus... nothing can bring me down today!  Things in my life are going amazingly well.  Today, I joined Actor's Equity Association- the stage actor's union.  I couldn't be happier about it.  Well, actually, the one thing that does make me even happier is Danny's pending Off-Broadway debut!  He did the lighting design for O Night Divine, which is being performed at The Theatre at St. Peters in New York.  It opens tomorrow, and I'm rushing up to the city for the opening after my matinee of The Surflight Holiday Spectacular at Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven, New Jersey tomorrow.  Basically, both of our careers seem to be hitting the beginning of a high point.  And life just feels fantastic!  So, if my photographs today are sub-par... at least my life isn't, right?

Happy days to everyone.  Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times for your readership!

If you are anywhere near Beach Haven... come see The Surflight Holiday Spectacular!
And, if you are in New York City... go see O Night Divine!

If you aren't near either one, you still rock.  Like me on Facebook, I got a NEW PAGE. (If you click on the words it will take you there.  Or you can just "like" me on the sidebar)

But seriously everyone, this blog would be nothing without my awesome readers.  Thank you so much.

Longwood Gardens Part 2

So... remember when I told you to wait til Sunday for the rest of the Longwood Gardens photos?
Yeah..........
It's Tuesday afternoon.  Life's been really busy lately. I had a new show open on Friday, and on top of performing in it, I'm also the Dance Captain, so life has been nuts.
BUT ANYWAY.  Here are the photos!

There will actually be one more day of Longwood Gardens photographs after this one!  (Then just wait til I go back for the holiday light displays... )

I'd love to say that it will be posted tomorrow, but I might not be able to get it up.  I hope I do!  Every time I let this blog just sit for a few days it makes me sad.

In any case, I hope you enjoy it!  As always, your comments and emails are very appreciated :)

In the Sky Over Chicago

1-2-10

Wow.  It feels so weird to put 10 as the year.  Another decade has passed.  It seems like just yesterday that I was banging pots and pans on my grandparents’ porch, ringing in 2000.  Of course, I was 10, but I remember things pretty clearly from when I was 10.

My New Year plans got changed just a little bit.  I was supposed to go to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA, with my friends Bianca and Amanda.  Bianca ended up getting stuck at home in Philadelphia, and it rained, so instead I went to a New Years party at my friend Jenny’s house.  It was awesome.  They cleared all of the furniture out of one room and set up a strobe light.  We set off fireworks, wore crazy outfits, made air pop popcorn, and, yes, we banged pots and pans.  It was fantastic. I’ll post pictures in a few days… I didn’t take any at the party, because my crappy $50 camera decided to die completely on me.  In the mean time, here are a few pics of my Longwood trip at night on Dec 18, for my parents’ anniversary:

EDIT:  Here's a New Years pic!

But I won’t be having that problem any more!  The camera problem, I mean.  With the store credit from my Coolpix that tilted over and busted last year, I bought myself a really nice new Kodak Easyshare!  I love it.  It takes beautiful pictures.  Here are my first few shots from in the Chicago Airport.

Yes, that’s correct.  I’m currently sitting in Chicago O’Hare airport.   There was a sign saying that the airport was an internet hotspot- I was very happy about this.  However, it was a lie.  You have to pay to be able to use the hotspot. And it’s like $10.  Lame.  They tricked me.

So why am I in Chicago?   Because there was no direct flight.  I’m on my way to Austin, TX to visit my amazing boyfriend Danny, and his dad, who I have not met before.  I’m so excited about this.  I haven’t seen Danny for two weeks, and I have never been to Texas.  Actually, I have never been to Chicago either.  So this is two firsts.

Here’s a nice picture of Danny and me.

I’ll post more when I’m in Austin.  Current plans include seeing Avatar in Imax tonight, and going to see The Alamo tomorrow.

Cheerio!

(I leave you with a photo I took when I saw Sherlock Holmes in Newport.  The movie was fantastic.)
