A Taste of Christmas

Ok, this is the last post from that morning I spent hanging out in Bryant Park, I promise.  There was just so much happening!  The Holiday Market looked awesome, the leaves were pretty, plus, oh my god, ice skating.  It was great.  Also, there were very few people because it was about to rain, so, I was just running around like a kid in a candy store enjoying all of the excellent photo fodder.

So, here are some photos from the Christmas Market.  Yummy chocolate, confusing Pokemon, funny signs, and more... galore... are in store...

Eggs and Such

Ah... it's that time of year.  That chocolate egg time of year.  I've always liked this time- Easter, and all of that.  Celebrations of spring, new life, and overall re-birth.  Easter is a delightful holiday.  And nothing is more delightful than personalized chocolate Easter eggs, like my parents brought for us!!

You know what else I like?  Crepes.  My family was here the past few days, hence the last few days with no posts.  During this time, they gave us the afore-pictured chocolate eggs.  Which were personalized, and totally delicious.  They nailed it.  Danny's was peanut butter and mine was coconut.  Yum.  Anyways, in return, we took them to our favourite crepe joint in DUMBO.  They did treat us there as well... but it was our idea.

Genève, Vous Etes Merveilleux

I thought that today I would feature photographs from another French-speaking city!

Last April, my dad and I visited Geneva, in Switzerland.  It is such a lovely place!  The streets are very old, and the people were very nice.  My dad was there on a business trip, and I met up with him.

These photos were taken in many locations around the city.

Avril dernier, mon papa et j'ai visité Genève, à Suisse. Elle est tres belle! Les rues sont très vieilles, et les gens étaient très agréables. Mon papa était là sur un voyage d'affaires, et j'ai rencontré avec lui.

Ces photographies montrent beaucoup de lieux dans la ville.

Petit Four

Can you tell that I'm on a diet?  The only things I'm posting photographs of are desserts. Yikes.  This diet is apparently frying my brain.  But, I must.  I finish school in just a few weeks, and if I want to be competitive auditioning, I have to be in great shape.  Not that I advocate being anorexic- I don't.  I don't at all.  That's not a good thing.  However, being physically fit and able to do the kind of strenuous things a person must as an actor is a delightfully good thing.  Oh, by the way, dear readers, my main career is that I'm an actor.  Who currently just loves staring at desserts, like these ones, also from Little Italy.

Cookies

Grand Central Station is one of the coolest places in New York City, if not in the world.  In addition to taking you out of the city to the much more lush and pretty Connecticut and surrounding parts of New York State, it has amazing stores and markets.  Not to mention an astronomical ceiling.  (If you've ever been there, you'll get that pun.)  Most importantly, though, you can buy lots of sweets there, including these delectable looking cookies from Financier.  I was there after closing time, but these morsels were beckoning to me from within.  Next time I'm there during hours, I shall treat myself.  Yay!
